I concieved during our 3rd month trying. It was my first month charting using Fertility Friend. DH was away for work so I thought we were going to be out for the Feb. cycle but Fertility Friend showed that I ovulated later than I originally thought so we went for it when he came home.
ReplyDeleteI thought that it was kind of strange that it happened this cycle too because I O'd on Feb. 16th (according to FF) and also had my annual OBGYN appointment that day, so I had a pap smear. The next day I woke up with a UTI. So I was feeling pretty miserable and thought that I was out because of all the chaos in my nether regions that month...but I got my BFP's 14 dpo!
My hubby and I conceived on our 7th cycle, after a SA and a scheduling an HSG and more testing. We were starting to give up hope. I have had 2 previous failed pregnancies, and I was at the point that I thought I was never going to get to be a Mommy. I charted with FF and did everything imaginable to TTC. It just wasn't working. This cycle all of our stars must of been in line! I got 2 very positive OPKs so we did it on both days, 11 days later I had some spotting (which must have been implantation) and they next day I missed my period, a day after that I tested and BFP! It was followed by 6 more BFP and then a beta of 43! I am so excited! But also very nervous! I am praying that this baby sticks!
ReplyDeleteMy H and I got pregnant on our first try after my miscarriage last year. We waited the obligatory 1 cycle after the loss, and then my next cycle was really really long. I got my BFP on cd48!
ReplyDeleteSo far I'm a little queasy, have sore breasts, am hungry all the time, and have cramps off and on.
Of course I'm nervous that we'll lose this pregnancy as well, but I'm trying to stay positive and pray that all goes well at our first appointment on March 19.
H & H 9 months to everyone!
I started charting my first cycle off birth control, and we got our BFP that cycle. You could never have convinced me that I would get pregnant the first cycle, especially since my mom had fertility issues. Here we are though, and very happy about it!
ReplyDeleteSo far my symptoms are face breaking out, very tired, and feel nauseous most of the time. I had cramps early on, but they stopped by week 5.
I'm most excited about hopefully making it to the 2nd trimester. First appointment is next Monday (3/22) and I'm really hoping for an ultrasound to date the pregnancy (didn't ovulate until CD30) and to possibly hear the heartbeat. The wait is killing me!
We weren't trying, but I had gone off birth control a few months before, I just didn't like the way it made me feel.
ReplyDeleteWe have been TTC since September 2009. We got a BFP on our first cycle trying. Unfortunately on November 10 we found that our LO had passed sometime the week before. I had a D&E at 9 weeks on November 11. We waited three cycles to TTC again. Again we got a BFP on our first cycle trying.
ReplyDeleteI am scared to death of another loss, but we really want our little baby and decided to risk it. We'd appreciate any prayers for a sticky baby. Our first ultrasound is March 30 and will be just a few days before I started having problems with my last pregnancy, so if that goes well it will be a big milestone.
Hi! This is Islelily! DH and I have been TTC since February 2008. We were blessed with a BFP the next cycle (with an EDD of 12/31/08). At our 7wk appt, the doctor gave us a surprise U/S and the baby was measuring behind a handful of days. We got a call later saying they couldn't "confirm" a heartbeat, so we went back in for another U/S. Still no growth. We waited another week hoping the babe would grow. Still no grow. We had a missed m/c and a D&C in June 2008.
ReplyDeleteWe've been TTCAL ever since. Started seeing an RE in February 2009 and started cycles with them in August 2009. After 2 medicated TIs, 3 IUIs, a month off, and 2 additional medicated TIs, we were told we got IVF approval from our insurance in March 2010. We also received our BFP!
So now we're cautiously expecting our sweet miracle with our first U/S on Thursday to measure the sac/pole and possibly a heartbeat!!
I went of bc in October 2009 and had a messed up cycle for October and part of November. We started TTC in December and got a big fat positive on March 6th! I actually had used an ovulation predictor and I was really sad it didn't tell me I ovulated in Feb. and thought something was probably wrong with me. Thus why I waited almost a week after my missed period to finally POAS! We are so excited and hope things run smoothly! I feel a little too good at times so I am slightly worried. We will see on Monday, 3/29 when we go in for what I hope to be an early U/S and to hear that wonderful heartbeat! :)
ReplyDeleteWe decided to start trying in February and I went off my pill February 5th, had my period February 8th. March 10th, I found out I was late and pregnant :) We were thinking it would take a year or so. We go for our first ultrasound on Tuesday, March 30th and hope to hear the heartbeat.
ReplyDeleteWe got pregnant after 2 months of ttc in Oct 09, but I had a blighted ovum. The empty sac grew to 6 weeks 1 day, but then it was over. I had a D&E on 11/17/09 and we were told to wait 2 normal cycles before ttc again. On the 2nd month, we got pg again! My first appointment is on Wednesday (happy birthday to me!) Things are going well so far...hoping this is our sticky baby!!
ReplyDeleteWe got pregnant after 2 cycles of fertility drugs. I was DX'd with PCOS last March so we knew it might be a struggle. We are so happy and blessed that we were able to conceive pretty quickly after meeting with our fertility specialist. I had my 6 week u/s on March 29th and saw a precious little heartbeat.
